About Us
London Soroptimists identify issues and needs specific to the London community. Our goal is to advance the status of women and girls and to support local and international organizations who share that goal. We raise funds needed to provide essential services for women in our community.
Who We Are
Soroptimist International London is made up of a group of local energetic women working tirelessly on programs that help women to help themselves, by giving them the tools they need to live their dreams.
Soroptimist membership provides a unique and fun opportunity to do something meaningful and life-changing for women and girls, locally and throughout the world.
Members have opportunities for leadership development and mentoring. Your personal talents and interests can be channeled into one of our four operational areas: Public Awareness, Membership, Program and Fundraising.
An annual membership fee helps to support international and community-based projects as well as Club operations.

Our History
The original Soroptimist International London was chartered in 1936 but disbanded in the early 90’s. In 2012, a small group of dedicated women from the London community gathered to rebuild the club.
With the support of SI Cambridge we were chartered in September 2014.
